don't be so hard on yourself!

i have sort of lost my blogging groove too, but my husband reminded me that my main focus is documenting life for our family...not to get a book deal, sponsored by a company etc. An excellent reminder for me!

Take care and I'll miss you. :)

taking a blog break is a good idea for all of us. taking a step back. and spending time doing things. or just resting. take care, my friend.

I felt the same way. I ended up minimising my bloglist and haven't been posting....still deciding whether or not to continue.
I have more time now for sewing though! Enjoy your break.

Oh, I understand. Sometimes I feel like our intimate blogging soiree has turned into the most out of control rave and I am stuck somewhere in the mud clutching my warm bottle of water. Come back refreshed, remembering what was good about it in the beginning.

I think we all feel like that sometimes. I know that if I read too many blogs not a lot of crafting gets done at all and then I feel uninspired. I try and blog once a fortnight now and I will have to start keeping a little notebook on hand so I can remember what ideas I have to blog about, otherwise I forget. I hope that your better now too, how horrible to have to go to hospital.

Bianca

Enjoy your break Allison. I'll be looking forward to your return - I don't find your blog boring or mundane at all in fact I really enjoy reading it and looking for your updates!

Lin

I think we all feel like this at times. I know I do! I have often wondered how some crafty bloggers actually manage to get everything done that they say they do! It's hard enough to look after children, work if you have to, maintain a home and have time left over for relationships, let alone make great stuff, take great pics, blog everyday, respond to comments, and keep on the ball with everything. I think the answer is, they don't.
I hope you enjoy your break and that we see you back here sometime in the future :)

corrie

oh I'll miss your blog but been there. When I go back this time last year I was posting once or twice a month, doing no craft, leaving the house for an hour or two a day and sporting a rapidly growing belly that took all my energy! even a walk to the post box required some serious motivation!

recharge, get inspired, take some time and hug those kiddies of yours!

we'll still be here when you're ready!!!!!

I will miss your blog of course!
Corrie:)

monica

hey, look after yourself!

We'll be here waiting for you. Un abbraccio.

Ack! Sounds like you need to reboot. I have completely felt the same way as you so don't worry. Come back to it for you... something you enjoy doing.

My mac had some major issues too (by chance, did you try doing a random search for a particular photo to see if it is just hidden - that's what happen with ours.. everything was still there).

Belinda

See how out of touch I am. I'm only now checking in to see how you are. I hope you guys are keeping well. Feel free to drop me an email if you feel like a chat. I don't know if you got my email a while back. I think it might of bounced back. But I wanted to let you know I made your delicious cupcakes for Abbey's birthday and they were a huge hit!

Take care my friend.
