The sun is starting to make consisten appearances now, and since Tilly threw her hat out the car window last week, I knew I had to get her a new one. I couldn't resist the chance to make one, so here it is. Made from a thrifted sheet with a little ric-rac trim. Here she is sitting outside our usual morning cafe, well, the background actually shows the shop next door.
Actually, I was a bit sad about the hat out the window. It was mine when I was a toddler. I had two of them, and Tilly has managed to dispose of both of them now. This new hat was made with the same pattern, but still, it is not the same.
And now for the something for me. I don't really like the photo, but I do want to show off the top. It's Burda pattern 8361 and I first saw it here, (much better than my one). It's meant to be an easy pattern, but I still had my fair share of trouble with it. It actually looks better without the top underneath it, but it's a bit too low cut for a morning at Playgroup without.
And here we are together with our new items.
