I've been doing a bit of freezer baking lately. Such a breeze. For the last couple of months I've been freezing half my biscuit dough every time I make some. This means that I don't have to over indulge Tilly with sweet things everytime I make them (or is it more my waist line I'm concerned about??) and that I've got a quick to prepare treat ready for some later date. The latest lot was just a batch of simple butter biscuits. So much more fun than playdough! All I needed to do was roll it out, have Tilly help cut out the shapes and sprinkle them with hundreds and thousands and chocolate chips. No mess, no fuss and yummy fresh baked biscuits in minutes.
Oh and here is another picture of my children. They are so sweet. I was at the shops with just Tilly the other day and she went straight over to the baby clothes sized 000 and picked out a little singlet she wanted to buy for Frankie. She didn't want anything for herself, but really wanted to get this one for him. It's not really my style, bright yellow with a spotty elephant embroidered on it, but she was so keen that it was just right for him. I actually put it on him quite a lot because it reminds me of how much she loves him.
